Thirst-Quencer: "The Water Glass"

Do you view the glass as half-empty or half-full?
Many years ago, I would have simply told you that the glass was half-full. However, after further evaluation, I have determined that is isn't what is in the glass that is the issue, but that we are simply looking at the wrong glass.

Consider this principle of physics: though a liquid does not maintain shape, it does not lose volume. Therefore, if you pour the water out of the glass into one that is smaller, the new glass being observed is full. So if it is a matter of perspective, then maybe we need not to be optimistic or pessimistic, but realize that the One who is providing the water knows exactly how much we need and actually provides for it in abundance.
When a runner goes for a long-distance run, either he or those with him determine how much water is needed to run that distance so that the runner will not grow faint and be unable to complete the challenge. As a child of the King, when I run my race, I know that my Master has already determined in His perfect plan what I will need so that I will not grow faint. My cup is not only full, but by His extravagant love, it overflows.
