Day 32 of Project America

Current long-term goal: walk 2880 miles in a year (equivalent to walking across America)
Conversion ratio: 2000 steps/mile
Steps taken to date: 491199
Total distance traveled for this goal: 245.5 miles
Steps taken today: 16455

Four days ago, I shattered my personal record for steps taken in a day with an outrageous 25, 822 steps! Figuratively-speaking, I've just entered Arizona, I don't carry identification with me normally, so it is a good thing this isn't actual travel. I'm about 7 miles behind schedule, but that should be fixed by tomorrow with ease. I will press on toward the goal!

Types of Blog Posts Found Here

Project America

This is an old project to walk the length of America in a year. I was unable to finish in time due to complications, but this is now closed. I may consider a smaller distance project of like nature in the future.

C2J Weekly

This type of post was originally designed as e-mails I'd send to people in a magazine article sort of format. These got their title because often exhort the recipient to trim the coarse sides so that the jewel they bear may shine. The biggest change from its original form probably is that instead of having a single person as the audience, it basically targets believers that dare to read this blog.

Stride4stride

This is formatted much like a letter, encouraging the reader to run and not be tired because they learn how to rely on Him. I have occasionally used the formatting for personal letters, but the title and reoccurring runner's theme is new to these blog posts. They often deal with hurdles that the addressed reader seems to struggle with.

Thirst-Quencher

These are much like a Q & A entry. They deal with comments or questions that I specifically have been asked or constantly come up around me often. The idea is to satisfy curiosity in fellow believers that really seek the truth.

Food4thought

This type of post is for poetry I've written. Comparatively, it has the broadest audience in mind. Keep careful attention: I have a tendency to write poetry with multiple meanings, hidden tones, and deep concepts.

Crowd Cheers

It's been said that the Seattle Seahawks 12th-man is the crowd. As believers, a great cloud of witnesses stands by, urging us to run the race for Him. The purpose of these posts is to draw your attention to the words of wisdom and soothing tones of those that those that have gone before us can teach.
